Announcing our fundraising journey — live from the world’s biggest boat show

On January 20th, the Yacht Cabin team — Dmytro Kuzub (CEO) and Ivan Kuznetsov (CTO) — took the stage at boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest boat show, to share our vision and announce an exciting milestone:
We’re officially starting our fundraising campaign.
As part of the BID startup pitch competition, we presented how Yacht Cabin is solving one of the most pressing problems in sailing today — the lack of young people entering the boating community.
Why we’re fundraising — and why now
Yacht Cabin is the easiest entry point into sailing. We allow newcomers to safely join private boat owners for real sailing experiences, up to 10× cheaper than traditional chartering — or even for free.
But it’s not just about cheaper access — it’s about reshaping the future of boating.
The problem we’re solving
For years, the sailing industry has faced a major structural issue: Not enough new people coming in.
Yacht Cabin changes that. We open the doors to a younger generation of sailors — smartphone-native and sharing-economy-minded.
Why now is the right time
Starlink is making fast and reliable internet at sea possible
Millennials are entering the boating world in greater numbers
The average age of boat owners is finally going down
Social platforms are shaping how people discover and access experiences — including sailing
We believe Yacht Cabin is the right product at the right time to catch this wave.
Why Yacht Cabin
✅ Strong, committed founding team
✅ Real early traction from both boat owners and crew
✅ Product-market fit with clear community buzz
✅ A true blue-ocean market opportunity
Raising €500K
We’re raising €500,000 to scale the product and reach break-even in under 24 months.
